Ningbo London, a Palletline Logistics owned business, has joined the Hazchem Network, the only hazardous goods pallet and parcel network in the UK.
The Purfleet based company is proud to announce it has diversified into handling dangerous goods as part of partnership with the Hazchem Network, which transports more than 2,000 pallets and parcels a night throughout the UK mainland and islands, as well as covering 27 European countries.
In preparation, 10 of Ningbo London’s drivers have obtained ADR accreditation (The Accord Dangerous Routier, the European Agreement concerning the transport of hazardous goods), with a further four to be trained in January.
Hen File, Ningbo London, Network Director said: “We are always looking at ways we can improve and extend the range of services we offer and joining the Hazchem Network was a natural next step. Their knowledgeable and helpful experts ensured the onboarding process was smooth and hassle-free.
On top of that, two office employees are fully ADR-trained and more than half of its fleet is ADR-ready, while a dedicated space has been created within its warehouse to handle the specialised goods – carefully segregated from ‘standard’ freight.
Hazchem Managing Director Rob Symes said: “Ningbo London has a good reputation and brings another high-quality member into London. We are delighted to welcome them into the network and this will strengthen further our service in the area.”
“We look forward to working together and further expanding the suite of services Ningbo London is able to offer customers.”

The Hazchem Network is the only pallet network that specialises in handling dangerous goods. It has more than 60 members, all of which are full-ADR hauliers and are backed-up by the support of the Hazchem Emergency Response Service (HERS) and the central hub. It provides a reliable and secure means for moving chemicals throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
